  • ZipShip Ltd provides removals, man-and-van, and transport services across England.

  • These Terms apply to all services booked with ZipShip Ltd, whether online, by phone, or via contact forms.

  • We reserve the right to update or change these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services means you accept the revised terms.


2. Bookings

  • All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by ZipShip Ltd.

  • Accurate and complete information must be provided when making a booking (including addresses, timing, and item details).

  • Prices may vary depending on distance, van size, number of movers, time, and other job-specific factors.

  • Additional charges may apply for delays, waiting time, or if the move requires more time or effort than quoted.


3. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled move may be eligible for a full or partial refund.

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the booking may incur a cancellation fee or no refund.

  • No-shows or last-minute changes may result in a full charge.


4. Customer Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for:

    • Ensuring accurate information is provided during booking

    • Packing your items securely (unless packing is included in the service)

    • Arranging parking at both pickup and drop-off locations

    • Being present or appointing a representative during the move

  • ZipShip Ltd is not responsible for any delays caused by incorrect information, lack of parking, or access restrictions.


5. Liability & Insurance

  • Our movers handle your belongings with care, but we recommend that high-value or fragile items be declared in advance.

  • ZipShip Ltd holds public liability and goods in transit insurance. However:

    • We are not liable for damage caused by poor packing (unless done by our team)

    • We are not liable for pre-existing damage

    • Claims must be submitted immediately upon delivery, and no later than 48 hours after the move


6. Delays & Unforeseen Circumstances

  • ZipShip Ltd is not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, accidents, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.

  • In such cases, we will do our best to complete the move as quickly and safely as possible.


7. Payments

  • Payment must be made via accepted methods at the time of booking or immediately after service is completed (if agreed in advance).

  • Bookings are only confirmed once payment is received (unless otherwise agreed).


8. Refusal of Service

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a job if:

  • Unsafe or illegal items are involved

  • The environment poses a risk to our staff or vehicles

  • The customer is abusive or behaves inappropriately


9. Website Use

  • All content on our website is the property of ZipShip Ltd and may not be reproduced without permission.

  • Website use is subject to standard internet terms regarding acceptable behaviour and data use.

Insurance

 Insurance Coverage – ZipShip Ltd

At ZipShip Ltd, we understand that your belongings are important. That’s why we carry comprehensive insurance to give you peace of mind throughout your move.

✅ Public Liability Insurance

We are covered for damage or injury caused to third parties during the course of our work. This includes accidents involving people or property while we’re on-site.

✅ Goods in Transit Insurance

Your items are protected while they’re being transported in our vans. This covers loss or damage during loading, unloading, and travel — up to the insured amount specified in our policy.


📌 Important Notes

  • Insurance applies only to items moved by our team and when packed securely.

  • Items packed by the customer must be safely and properly secured to be eligible for any claims.

  • Damage resulting from poor packing, incorrect handling by non-staff, or pre-existing faults is not covered.

  • Claims must be reported within 48 hours of delivery for processing.
